Why do people hate top players?

For example, Jorge Yao and Kemal.

So, why do people hate on these people? Just because they use ♥♥♥♥♥s? If I had to take a guess, I would say that these people are the reason Clash of Clans (or Supercell) is still alive. I'm not defending what they did, but most people in Champion use ♥♥♥♥♥s, so why only single out the popular ones?

The also inspire people, for example, Jorge Yao. He mass dragged, and now a lot of people do it too. He also kept the #1 spot for the longest time. Kemal, well, I'm not sure what he did, but let's just say he inspired people to push and play.

Is there other reasons why they are hated except for the fact according to some people, "ogm no lyfe," for spending money?

Not a flame bait, so don't go attacking these top players or other forum members.

A few fun facts for you:
1) Jorge Yao was sponsored by Kemal
2) At one point Jorge was sitting at the top of the leaderboards for several months via cheap shielding provided by his family clan and their multiple accounts.
3) Jorge used to operate Kemal's account sometimes
4) The real Jorge Yao is no longer playing his account.
5) Top players share accounts among each other to stay online as often as possible.
6) In high level clan wars, all attacks done by a clan is often only carried out by 5 person operating all the other accounts.
7) During one of the visits to one of the top clans, i was basically talking to 3 person operating 20 accounts.

These are the tip of the iceberg regarding how life is like at the top of the leaderboards.

Absolutely, I don't live in any of those predominant countries listed in the definition, so I've never heard of it, but it absolutely describes the hatred people have towards the Champs. I may not be a Champ, but I know what being hated by others purely because of jealousy and, of course, Tall Poppy Syndrome.

I don't single out individuals, in my opinion at least 90% of the people who have made it to top 200 have used mods,exploits etc. so I dislike them all,sorry to the legit ones who made it there fairly but others have tainted your reputation. The champion league is known to be a weight lifting match between steroid users,normal players have very little chance.

No one in my clan buys gems and not a single one of us hate top players. It's incredibly sad, pathetic, and petty to actually hate someone and feel jealousy over a video game, but luckily it's only a very small but vocal minority. I for one have never personally come across someone get all hot and bothered over gemmers. Only on forums like these where a small hand full of people jump all over it.

No one said hate anywhere.. But, let's say you are playing soccer competitivly. Now the other team has 20 people playing goal for them so it's impossible to score on them. Your team only having 1 player in net makes it very easy for them to score on you. This being said they cheap sheild themselves and use multiple accounts to make them impossible to attack. Yet they can attack you at any time so it is impossible to pass them in the leader boards.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but, I think this is a accuret depiction. It's not hate its just not fair if it's impossible to pass them unless they let you.
