Im a hall 7 and i made it to masters decently quick hall picking with only archers
Going to champions requires lots of time as tons of guys up there have tough defenses and dont farm
Possible? Yes. Many halls 6-8 have reached champion but only because they sat at home all day playing

Well looks like mass drag is the only way..
50% th10 requires a bit of luck
I can 50% th8 and 9 bases with 180 archers + 1 dragon now..
And its only for Bases with mortar placed in the center
But th10 requires 3 lightning and BK.. and its not always working..
Ive done th sniping before until master 2
And im pretty sure we cant maintain the next cost cause its very rare.. unless if we gem of course.. but id rather save my gem for shields once i reach master 1

You clearly have very little patience, so sniping, which is really the only feasible method for a TH8, is gone (a TH5 got to champ sniping a few months ago.
Mass drag would hardly work up there. Not to mention the fact that even if you could get really good at it, you would be pulling 1 star at most, and given the trophies you can get up there for 1 star, you will be very impatient and disappointed.

" LOL even mass dragon wouldnt work (not even considering cost and time for that), theres no way a faster and weaker army would ever work. If theres a 30 min army that can get people to champion (other than barch for the VERY SKILLED), it would be crazy popular right now.
As a TH8, you cant even use Loonian properly without level 5 loons and having no queen is a huge disadvantage.
Also, you didnt consider the fact that SPELLS would be your limiting factor more so than troops, which could take 1.5 hours if you use 3 or so.

LOL you can not rely on luck at all to get to champions league, as every loss (which i imagine to be a good number) will set you back a lot. Plus 49% are quite frequentQuote:

any player that likes to Barch/BAM to 50% should know this :D
Either that or finding bases that has air defenses focused on 1 side so that dragons can 50% it..

Some people in masters (3,2, even 1) do put their th outside overnight. But I doubt you could find enough to sustain a push to champs, without extreme persistence, which is not fast. By the time you are in the top half of masters, nearly every base is th10 maxed defenses or very close.
What about ballonion th8? Would it work well for 50% TH10's?
There's a huge stat diff between lv5 and lv6 balloon though...
As discussed you cant hope to 50% every base you attack
One loss will take cups that cost you hours to collect
Sniping is the efficient and cheap way even though it takes long to pick a hall up in master
Sniping for TH is almost impossible in Master 2, I was th7 and i stopped at 2842.Quote:
