Well, basic limits even for junior elite need to be established- we don't want to ruin a TH3's desire to push ever again by allowing anyone to sign up. I think that a basic level requirement of 40+ for junior elite would be good...

This is more for the wellbeing a prosperity of newer players more than it is desire to exclude people from the event, as I said, we don't want pushing to have a negative effect on relatively newer players who may not be ready to handle pushing.

I like the sounds of this - no tourney conflict, no holiday conflict, enough time to plan, but soon enough to maintain the hype and for people to remember it.

Just checked and Forum Donators ends the 20th as well

Ooph. That's gonna be a tight date to meet for such a big event (If I'm involved in planning this- am I?). Anyways, isn't it supposed to be a full season?

It's one week I believe, two would be great, but some people will be itching to get back to their clans.

Anyone who wants to help is welcomed. All previous Forum Elites have been 1 week long if I am not mistaken - typically people push on their own well before the event starts to get their cups up, as 2 weeks away from their clan is a bit too much for many people.

The difficulty of my name never ceases to amaze. Damn parents naming me Djemerson13 instead of a normal name like Dan :(

Anywho, a thread is much simpler in regards to reaching the majority of people. It is more accessible in general, allowing everyone to take part rather than a select few who comprise the group with certain abilities and so on. Threads also have many more formatting capabilities versus the sometimes finicky group threads. Groups are a bit complicated to my pea brains as well - a series of thread interlinked will serve the purpose much better in my opinion

Anyone know Illys Status? I thought he had a one year ban...I'd love to have him join us:(

Don't be under any impression that any one person is running the event, as previously stated anyone who wishes to take part in the organization of it is more than welcome - this isn't an event to be run by one single person. I simply figured I would metaphorically get the ball rolling. In regards to whose idea it is, Mufasa came up with the event, and the two previous FE's have been organized by groups of many people.

I don't want to be stepping on anyone's toes here, seeing that there is some sort of forum event hierarchy, but I would say this event is best run with a thread for planning as it has been in the past.
