Forum Elite III - Interest and Planning Thread

Hey Folks, the purpose of this thread is to gauge the interest and start laying the groundwork for the third iteration of Forum Elite!

For those who are not familiar with "Forum Elite", it is a group of temporary clans comprised of Forum members who all take part in a trophy push

What we need to decide:

• When the clans will take place
• How long will the push last
• When and how often players should be moved based on trophies
• How to run the sign up process
• How to initially sort the clans
• What to do with empty slots by no shows
• Establish a few simple rules for conduct

Seeing as the last Forum Elite was 4 months ago, we ought to start getting the word out a bit, and getting people involved with setting this huge event up, given the success of the first two, we definitely have our hands full! Feel free to voice your opinion and suggest all of your ideas. If I've omitted anything in the "to do list" just ask for it to be edited.
So with that, let's get to it!

One thing I will flag up, there will probably be a lot more people wanting to participate this time round, whether this is a positive or negative, that's debatable.

Personally, I'd love it to happen during summer so I can have plenty of time to be online pushing. So within the next 2 months.

For sure, the first two were successful although not huge - with more applicants we will have more clans, inevitably more no shows/drop outs and a heck of a lot of work with sign ups and building clans. In my opinion a google form for sign ups where people input there stats will be the best, for keeping track of all the sign ups a spreadsheet that is "view only" for most with editing permissions given to organizers should work fine.

I haven't gotten to participate in the last two, so I would love a third to partake in:D

Let's hope the clans can be filled better than last time.

Ive participated in the first 2 :) 3rd is probably going to be as great as the first ones. Might be the first time I'll be pushing at th10, hopefully i can max my infernos by then ;)
