Sure. Many battles come down to just a few more troops needed to get that loot or next star. Rolling with 170 camp space or 200 is a huge difference, think 30 more archers running all over the enemy base.

As far as your combination goes, usually I try to avoid mixing ground and air forces. The exception is usually healers, giant/healer does work fairly well against TH7s.

Well, first, I send my giants to get the air defense. Send a wallbreaker after spawning the giants if the air defense is protected. Send 2 healers. I then spawn my barbs, goblins, and archers after the mortars and wizard towers are taken out. If I can, I send them sooner, away from splash damage towers.

Why not as many giants? It destroys the defenses much faster.
Wizards are backup, and they pack a punch.
What about barbarians?

I think you have the right idea. The issue is that giants are slow, and often get stuck hammering walls trying to get to far away defenses. I would use those extra camp spaces on more wall breakers, and more archers to help clean up/take loot.

get you'r camp space maxed asap. they are extremely important and should be maxed within a week or 2 of getting a new th lvl.

My giant healer starting at th7 used 20 giants. 15 at th6 with 150 camp space. if you'r going to invest in 2 healers then they need stuff to heal. dont skimp on giants. If you are playing in a session and build speed is important then use mostly archers as backup. however if you are doing something else while the army cooks and dont care then make 10 - 15 wizards. that many giants and wizards will 3 star many bases. 8wbs or so. rest archers.


when you place the giants place them so they are going after an air d and use the healing spell until it is dead. then drop you'r healers. then take out trash buildings with archers so that when you drop you'r wizards they follow the giants into the base and destroy it.

Giants can actually take out steel walls pretty fast, maybe bout 3-5 seconds? However, I'll take your advice and stack up on wallbreakers and archers.
Why no gobs/barbs btw?

Having too little army space (upgrading atm), I'm using 16 giants. However, I'll try more giants, but not too many.
Also, like I said above, why no barbs/gobs?

You can use them for sure. Many people do. I dont personally in giant healer but i do in other builds. If u like them then go for it. I find giants are a fine meat shield and replace barbs. Archers with their range are better at dealing damage imo. But others differ and they are not wrong just have a different style. I used to use goblins but now at th9 i dont anymore. Maybe when i can upgrade them again at th10 i will.
