First (and failed) Custom TH8 Farming Base

Since I got th8 just yesterday, I've been looking for a new design. In an attempt to use my imagination, rather than copying like I usually do, I heavily modified the base I saw earlier. Unfortunately, there are major flaws in some areas. I would like to keep the walls in the relatively same position, but I know I'm wasting a lot of walls and traps with useless segments.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated. My goal is to make an intimidating design, while still maintaining defense capable of repelling anything more than 1 star.

This was my initial design (the building between the 2 air defenses in the back is a wiz tower.) I did not like the fact that the back area has a huge unsegmented area where giants can walk through and wipe out a lot of defenses. Also the area near the TH with bombs is not complete yet, so excuse the general disarray.
