App doesn't load!
Hey guys,

So I've installed this game probably in November, for the first time. And this problem has been present since. So that's roughly 7 months now. Quite some time.

Here's the problem. Like the title says, the app doesn't load. It loads to half, most of the time, and then it just simply shuts down. No error message, nothing. I have an Sony Xperia Z LTE (6603), Quad Core 1.5 GHz, 2GB RAM, always more than 9GB free storage. Currently running Android 4.3, waiting for 4.4 update to roll out in my country.

So it can't be the phone, right? Since I've got all the specs compatible.

Before you reply, hear me out. I've tried literally everything:
- Force Close app,
- Boost RAM with 3rd party programs,
- Check for viruses,
- Used Xperia Diagnostics,
- Factory Reset,
- Uninstall/Re-Install Clash of Clans,
- Clean Cache,
- Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data,
- Turned phone Off, then back On,
- etc,
- etc,
Nothing solves the problem. Every day I have to literally start the app 10-15-sometimes even 30 times, before it actually starts.

Can anyone help me with this problem?
What else can I try, because this is getting really frustrating.

Those are generic answers for any app failure on Android. They don't solve the problem.

Another epic day has passed. Only had to start the game 12 times before it actually got past loading.

Anyone with some solutions? (other than the generic useless information posted in the stickies)

Funnily enough those useless answers have solved more cases than they haven't.

It is your phone causing the problem, I have it as well sometimes but it is MY PHONE.

Funnily enough generic answers usually help. Like "Drink water if you're thirsty."

Anyway, be a nice support guy and tell me how to actually solve my problem. Suggest me a diagnostic app, tell me where to take my phone, direct me towards a more competent techie.

Anything will do,

There isn't much you can do if the steps in the sticky didn't work and it crashes.

Next time it crashes just look at the loading bar, does it go back and forward really quick before crashing?

Nope. It doesn't go back. It goes forward.

Let's assume this is the loading bar:

|--------------------| <- this is when it starts.

|||||----------------|
|||||||--------------|
|||||||||||----------| <- this is half way. And then it crashes. No particular sound, no error report, nothing.

What do you think?

Look carefully next time, video it if you can.

That seems about right for it to be a device crash, hold the home button and free as much space as you can regularly.

Let's say it's a device crash. Why doesn't it crash when I use other apps? I have other RAM consuming apps that never crash. Actually, the only game that has ever crashed multiple times on my device is Clash of Clans. No other game.

Also, if by any chance you're right, what should I do? You're not really giving me answers. You're just prolonging this conversation.

It's the same on my device. The only thing I can think of is a factory reset - MAKE SURE YOU ARE CONNECTED TO G+. However that may or may not work. What I have found is the more I use it the less it crashes.

Other than that, I don't think you can do much.

Already tried the factory reset. It was the last thing I tried before I posted this thread. :)

Sorry - i'm not sure then. Just keep playing etc and hopefully it should stop.
