Hey gang, about to hit TH9 and I need a good farming base that will protect my resources. I maxed TH8 so my defenses are not all that bad and will be farming exclusively in Gold. I have narrowed down my search to the following two bases - Ringus by Peebak and Cloud Whiskey's base. I'm just not sure which is better in gold league as Ringus is a hog based design and not many hog attacks are in Gold. Ty in advance and clash on.

i used the second base myself (late town hall 9) and it performed pretty well. but with maxed TH8 defenses i would not use it. I would pick the first one then. but when you are a mid-townhall 9'er, use the second one.
Thanks for your input, I am leaning towards Ringus but I have read that it is susceptible to barch and giant healer attacks, which are very common in gold league.
It actually depends on the trophy range your at, if your in Gold II, I recommend using Cloud Whiskey's base :)
Gold 3 and 2 most likely.
Use Ringus when in crystal 3-1 since it is anti-hog. I have used Cloud Whiskey's for some time now, and I seem to like it except for exposed elixir (Not yet done with all elixir upgrades.)
im in gold 2 and i will be using whiskeys base once i get the rest of my new buildings in its more my style
