Clan Wars Chat

Hi all,

I registered just to post this idea. I am not sure if this has been previously proposed (or possibly rejected), but I think being able to communicate with the enemy clan (through the Clan Wars feature) would be an awesome addition.

Just seeing the enemy village isn't enough for me. I feel like this would bring another level of excitement to the game (even if it was just on preparation or final stats day, whatever!). Call me a competitive person, but I feel this feature would/could change the outcome of a war.

And just so there is no confusion, this chat would be totally separated from Global/Clan Chat, in order to be able to come up with an attack strategy with your own clan.

it would be nice but i think that for people who send a spy in the other clan that would make it to easy... the spy could just say the information he found directly on the chat and that could, like you said, change the outcome of the war.

Technically we could have spys (or moles) with the way the game in currently setup. I don't think there will ever be a way around that issue, unfortunately. Adding a clan wars chat will not change this.

I believe having a chat for opposing clans to communicate can on the contrary hinder the need for certain individuals to want to send moles and spy on the other clan.

I believe this problem rests on the clans. I feel clans should be smart about who and when they recruit people (that's just my belief).

Of course If clans are concerned about possible moles entering then they should consider making it a "invite only" clan & screen the player!... if they haven't already ;)

true, true, very true, but i don't understand what we would get by talking to the other clan... the'll probably just insult each other.

Why do we have Global chat? To socialize, recruit, make friends, etc.
Clan Wars chat would cover all these things and then some.

Aside from everything Global chat covers you would now be able to praise, challenge, strategically taunt each other, comment on attacks & defenses, feel your enemy out before attack, ask for advise & help, merge clans (for smaller clans), show good sportsmanship, thank one another, and maybe one day in a future update even have rematches! (Whole new topic lol) Those were just a few ideas from the top of my head.

Of course there will be insults and nay-sayers, but as long as the same rules that are in the Global chat are followed, I do not think this will be an issue. Those individuals who cross the line can and should be reported.

Clan Wars is a great update, but everything can get better. Since its start, I have felt something missing in Clan Wars. It needs an interactive touch. I think this would fill that void. It would add a whole other experience and make the game more enjoyable.

Again, this is just a suggestion. I wouldn't suggest this if I did not think others would enjoy this as well.
