So here she is.
As far as I know, I need to keep my storages low, raid cheap loot high, and have a super active clan
Anyone want to go into specific strategies for what I should build/upgrade first etc, what raiding comps would be best for me, what bases to go for etc.
Camps are at 180 capacity and BK is Lvl 5 while Queen is lvl 2
Try to stick on an area where there are lots of th8-th9. Gold 3 and above should be good, use Barch for cheap and fast raid and find inactive players with full collectors. Farm up. Upgrade defenses. Specially those walls.
Just Barch and if you get the hang of it you will be up in no time (maybe slower than others)

Honestly, TH 9 loot penalty isn't that bad. You can definitely take up some good money on TH 8.
What I'd do, if I were you :
1) Raid with cheap army, (barch's good) and do some 3-4 hours sessions raid :
You can probably still get 3.5mil each in a 4 hours session if you play with barch and attack anything easy above 150k.
3.5mil can help you make one or two upgrades, so you'll manage to get your builders working.
2) Try to keep one builder free for your walls (or buy the 5th one for $20 if your succeed at keeping all your four busy, it'll help a lot) :
The idea behind this is people won't raid people with high lvl walls. A lot of people will skip your base without even looking at your defenses. Try to get the 200k one ASAP, as they are the ones that "starts" to change how people sees your base. Also, you don't wanna keep a lot of loot, as a TH 9, you'll offer 350k each on every defense if you don't empty your storages.
3) Upgrade your farming stuff :
Upgrade your army camps, your barbarians and your archers. It'll make farming easier and help you raid for exposed storages.
4) Upgrade your splash defenses :
As a premie, you probably often get raided by farming armies (barch/bam/giants+heal), they'll help defending.
5) Upgrade the other defenses :
Yeah, you still have to :D.
I honestly think, if you can play two sessions of 3-4 hours a day, you can get your walls and farming stuff very quickly, and you'll see a lot of difference in your attack power, and on how often you get attacked.

I usually bring 4 lightnings : use them when you feel you can go for storages but a mortar / wiz tower would bug you. Plus, they are the cheapest one and you'll need your elixir to upgrade your farming stuff.
Don't care about waiting your heroes, nor CC troops. Use them when you got them, forget about it when you don't.
The point of barching is attacking often, for some reasonable loot (150k each and greater) in the collectors or very exposed storages. Fill two barracks with barbarians, two with archers before every attack.
You can probably attack every 15 minutes, so 4 times an hour, or 16 times in 4 hours. 16 * 180k = 2.9mil (you'll can probably get more, but I'm not sure depending on where you'll farm).
2.9mil means around 15 pink->purple walls, and as I said, they'll help make you look less of a target to some people.
I would personally focus on getting those troop levels up to the max,
Barbs and archers.
Farm in gold 2 crystal 3, hit collector bases
Start to work on your splash, get those walls up a little bit.
Long road ahead of you but with patience you can do it.
Wouldn't recommend hitting the th10 button any time for the next 6months though!
Hell yeah. You'll make most of your loot on TH 8, so going to TH 10 would probably made the catching much much much harder.Quote:

Just use all barracks, train archers and minions.
Raid is simple, archers to clear path (target exposed AD)... once the archer is done, send minions target core for storages or TH and drop healing spell for minions if need it.
p.s lvl 2 minion is good enough.
Not to come off as rude but I would honestly just start over. Better off maxing th to th than trying to save yourself from a super premmie base.
