Compensation for Bug & Glitch Victims

So after a couple of major bugs and glitches in the game over the last month, i have a query for SC.

In the case of future bugs, will the victims get any form of compensation to get back what they lost due to the bug?

For example, if i wake up one morning and find all my DE gone, will i get them back after the issue is fixed?

Or if my collectors stopped producing for 3 months due to a bug, will i get back the amount that they should have generated?

Or if a certain bug allows normal members to perform mass kicking and i lost my clan (& clan war records) due to it, will i get my clan back after everything is fixed?

I usually don't worry about these things because CoC had been quite secure, until recently.

I'd like to re-evaluate the appropriate amount of time, effort, and money spend on this game base on the security of my village, and your (SC) input will help a lot.

I heard that they are compensating all those who have lost loot or trophies due to glitches or bugs!

Send a ticket through to support with the details of what happened and they should get back to you by August :)

Can't wait to get either the loot lost or some gems! Shows that Supercell really does care about the community!

They probably will take months to grt back to him, not fix it and make him send another ticket which will take another couple months and they will then say it was to long ago to be helped

What about the people who abused ghosting and eyemod?

My whole clan are victims of one, where as everyone can be a victim of the other.

Ghosting was pretty much fixed but it's still possible for a few seconds to allow for genuine disconnections.

I'm sure bugs and glitches will be fixed in due course, but my concern is whether the victims of the glitches will be compensated. Especially in situations where the abuser of the glitch actually inflicts tangible damage to the victims account (like how the out of sync glitch effectively removes the victims' trophies).

My post was responding to JSpong.

Given that people who were affected by the recent gem glitch were compensated for the roll back with gems it would seem that in some cases you will receive compensation. With the recent trophy loss maybe those player affected will be compensated(likely not), however given the resulting bans and player dissatisfaction there is a good possibility the players affected will have an opportunity to regain their lost trophies.

As has always been the case if you feel that you have lost something tangible due to SCs error you can file a support ticket, just make sure to include screenshots and a good explanation of how you lost and what you lost.
