Thanks again! Now that I have maxed my TH10, I have been making my first push to Champion. I can only do a couple attacks a day and seem to lose the same amount I gain everytime I log off. I have been trying some of the base designs used in Exodias and always admired your unique designs. I did get a couple wins in but I have a hard time figuring out where teslas/bombs should go. I will keep experimenting and learn as I go!
This is really incredible, Predator. It's hard to understate how difficult it is to win enough defenses to stay at your trophy count since anyone attacking you is going to be coming with maxed troops and will be very good at attacking.
I really thought I was going to be able to design a base that i could rise through M1 to low champs on d (max defense structures, lv9 walls and lv25 heroes) but after ten days I've seen how difficult it really is. All my symmetrical bases are too weak on all sides to handle max gowi* (one star for sure, rarely get 2), and the 'trick' bases don't win enough to make up for the losses so far (one win then four to five 1-2 star losses). I am trying Tyrael's brilliant teaser base as a last ditch effort and if that fails then I know I've reached my current limit.
I do have a question: what is the range of defense win/loss that I would need to stay alive in the 3300 range, assuming I can only attack twice a day (let's say 15-20 trophies from attacks)?
Thanks for all the base building tips, they are extremely helpful to base builders. Good luck on that current layout your're tweaking :).

I tried a number of those bases in his clan and the one from Gnocclo was the only one I actually won defenses with after 3100 trophies. I swapped the air def with storage to provide the high health buildings in front of IT. After reading this, I have places the teslas/traps/bombs in much better places and hope it will get me to Champion!

winning 35-40% is enough to hold cups but il stick with a base and tweak it even if i lose 10 in a row if i like the way its running.Quote:
