We need rules.

Hi, I looked at the "Read before posting" and I couldnt find this.

I think it would be awesome if we could have a "rule tab" in the clan description, sorta like the War Log, where Co-leaders and Leader could set some clan rules.
I've been in a couple of clans and it always seems that there end up being people who mess up and gets kicked because the rules haven't been set clearly (or maybe just not when they were online).

It doesn't need to be anything major, but it would make a huge difference for a lot of clans I think :)

This might work but sadly, i dont think that everybody is as rule friendly as you so this probably wont be in the game anytime soon for the simple reason that no one will want it. Also, some of the clans put the rules in the clan description, which, if you think about it, is kinda like your rule tab.

I agree that the game would be much improved by a rules tab. With a clan of any size not everyone is on at the same time and there is turnover. Clan rules would help our clan's newbies understand our clan culture so they know if they want to be in it.

The description is too short to both introduce the clan and have clan rules there though :-/

A thousand times YESSSSSSS! I cant tell you how agravated I get when a new guy shoes up in my clan on day one asking for coleader! We need a Clan Culture page that the leader can edit. There would be fields listed to the right of each rank. Leader could set donation limits, longevity parameters, and trophy limits (if it matters) to inform people whats expected of them at each rank. Also a "miscellaneous" text box to enter in things like "must be qualified in league" or "must be townhall X." This would save me and my coleaders soooooo much stress and add to our time we actually get to play the game for personal enjoyment. Plus it would declutter our chat, giving more room for game strategy and smalltalk.

The fact you say some people wont want a rules page is too stinkin bad... they can pay their 40k gold to start their own clan where the clan culture page is left bare and thus no rules exist. But I believe that I speak for a significant segment of the clash leadership population when I say this is a good idea all the way.

And that small info section is nowhere near big enough to cover rules for acheiving each rank. Even if it were, I thought that was a space to promote the mood or theme of your clan. Like "we are a farming clan" or "adults only 21+" or "clan for anime fans" etc.... I think that having to put "will be kicked for starting fights in chat or donating less than X per season" puts a negative dpin on the mood of your clan. Plus the amount of clans out there with stuff like this in their description is kinda redundant, making everyones clan description vanilla an devoid of character.

Also, side frim info on how to earn ranks, there should be a section that details your clans specific war culture. Is war in your clan rare? Nonstop? Scheduled for certain days every week without fail? Are there penalties for not using both attacks? Or for getting low stars? Or for getting stars that have already been earned and thus do not contribute to the war score? War Culture might even deserve its own separate tab next to the clan culture page.

the reason i said it probably wont happen is because it is a ruled out idea.

Aw.... that sucks. Hopefully enough people ask about it that it forces them to change their ruling. This game could be so much better than it already is...
