Need a TH 8 Farming Base and Help

Hey everyone, I'm a reasonably well upgraded TH 8 except for my walls (75% level 5 and 25% level 6) and teslas(level 2). I need a the base that prioritises Dark Elixir and protects it above all else. Next, it must be able to defend gold and elixir storages. The elixir can be more exposed than the gold (when I'm saving for an elixir upgrade I can swap the storages). Hybrids are welcome, but I'm mainly looking for regular farming bases.

Requirements -
- Attackers must only be able to get to a maximum of 2 of my storages (any combination of gold and elixir)
- Must be able to stand up to attackers in Gold 1/2
- Dark Elixir must not be able to be touched / a minimum number lost
- Good placement of Clan Castle and Barbarian King.

Farming Help
What range is the best for TH 8? I tried Gold 2, pretty good loot. 1250 - 1400 range is horible, I barely earned any loot.

u can look up my current farming base if ud like! the only de ive been giving up is in the drill. currently in G1 so not sure about G2 and my defense is maxed so not sure if that is going to make a difference for you. i dont have a screenshot of my base but you can look me up. clan - OurPekkaIsBigga IGN- Kronos

Has locations on north and south side of base to place defenses that are upgrading and it's a solid farming base. No base is perfect obviously...

I designed a hybrid base that I use for TH8. DE in the core, all the storages are spread out so usually an attacker only gets to two of the six available.

With my base you can easily yank the TH out and put something else in there. Also, I regularly farm in the 1600-1700 trophy range with this hybrid base.

Looks like a solid base! I'll try it out for a day or two and if I like the results I'll keep using it.

This base will hold up great in gold 1 and 2 and your DE will never be touched. Now about the barbarian king. To be honest, he is a horrible defense at town hall 8, his huge radius means that there is nothing you can to to make him unlureable, it's best to leave him out.

I've seen some of his bases, and they look pretty good to me. My previous base wasn't doing so bad at the time, and I'll deinitely try out this base after I test out the Circle Jerk base. However, the elixir storages are more exposed than I'd like but no base is perfect, I guess.

The elixer could be easily switched with the gold, but a town hall 8 like me, I have no use for elixer. I can give you a base that has never failed for me but I will HAVE to do it through private message. Do you want it?
