1. It seems we can still change/upgrade the layout during the preparation day. Is the change/upgrade to my layout immediately updated to the enemies when they look at my layout? Or my layout remains the same from the beginning of preparation day to the end. The enemies can only see my updated layout on the battle day?
2. If my building upgraded during the preparation day, does that take into account in the battle day?

1. Not sure, but should be real time visible. Or maybe delay few minutes depending on how fast the server update/sync.
2. Yes. I have an AD finish on preparation day (before finish countdown).
1. The war map is updated in real time, as mentioned before. Just like your normal village.
2. Anything that is upgrading for a war is as follows:
If the building is upgrading at the time that Battle Day starts, it will not be upgrading on the war map but it will remain the level that it was before.
If the building finishes before Battle Day starts then it will be upgraded for the war on the war map.
This is best seen on the king or queen. So for example, if your king is level 8 and you get the 35k DE necessary to upgrade him to level 9. The upgrade time is 4 days, and 12 hours after starting your king upgrade, your clan starts a war. He will not be done by the time that Battle Day starts. Therefore, when someone attacks your village on battle day, your king will be there to defend, however he will still be level 8 and he will not be level 9. But he will be unavailabe for use in attacking, even in clan wars because he is still upgrading.
