Balancing Clan wars

How would you feel if your clan members leave after a war has been declared? I believe that you would get disappointed because it will hurt the war a lot. As we all know, the maximum stars for each player is six, and let's say that three players leave the clan, that would be a total of eighteen stars abandoning the war!
This is a big disadvantage, and the war becomes unbalance.

The players have the freedom to leave the clan at anytime they want right? this gap of freedom needs to be sealed by setting up the adequate rules to prevent this type of war or I would personally call it an "strategy bug" because the clan loses the requirement to win the war.

My ideas can be formulated with decisions base on the player, thus their freedom does not complete seal.

1. Any member that decides to abandon the clan after war has been activated, should have the right to leave on two new conditions: (A) Leave the clan by paying a penalty of 10 percent of gold, elixir and dark elixir to the leader of the clan. (B) the member cannot join a new clan until the war from the current clan is over.

For now this is my main idea to not only corrupt wars but also to slow down hoppers.

I need responses but importantly responses from staff.

Review your recruiting practices or figure out what makes your clan so crappy no one wants to stay.

A. Would be extremely exploitable.
B. Would be extremely annoying, especially because there are many good reasons why a person might leave.

you're talking about my clan which you have no clue about it. you are concluding something that is not visible or arguable.

I too have found fault in clan wars and although your idea would be exploitable and needs some tweaks I agree with the idea that people leaving is a huge pain during wars and also FOR ALL YOU PEOPLE SAYING MAYBE ITS CAUSE YOUR CLAN SUCKS. TOP CLANS HAVE PEOPLE LEAVE TOO!

Unhappy members would simply sit out the war. . meaning that you were still short the same number of raids.

The only difference would be that they were sat there not raiding and would leave as soon as war ended.

Then what about the clans that constantly war - is nobody ever allowed to leave?



dahmi has some valid points, maybe asking yourselves why people are leaving during CWs would be a better idea..

What's your point? Are you implying that top clans have an issue with maintaining membership?

We've won 31 wars to date, maximum any clan can have is currently 33.

1.Goal? What are you trying to achieve? Winning wars or stable clan?

2. Reality? Your clan members leave and this affects your war effort.

3. Options? As dahimi says (although a little bit abruptly) you could try reviewing your recruitment strategy. I (we) push for recruits during War Day. This give us a chance to see how they will perform (through clan donations and chat activity) with no risk to our war effort. When the war ends I will take stock of our roster, clear out dead wood (which is not often) and make a final decision on the newbies. This way we keep a lean force on the battle field. The war will not be started until the final check has been made. Btw, did you know that once the war starts any kicked or leaving players can rejoin and take their place on the battlefield?

4. What will you do?

Maybe you didnt donate to his war cc ...

Dahimi the only reason you are against it it’s because there is no issues that involves in your gameplay, you must be doing a good job. I’m not going to continue to argue with you even though I just did.

Sgt Trojan the first three questions should be answered by regular clan members. They know that almost every clan goes to war, unless they say so .this has a lot to do with resources because for them, there is nothing to lose but to request troops. Only one member came back to war but that almost never happens, after they leave, they won’t come back.

My idea sounds very strict but moccelic has a point, the penalty should be eased because people will stop playing the game and this is why it’s a problem. The main problem is that the game cannot have too many rules or this shouldn’t be an issue from the start.

There has been so many ideas in the forum but they never make changes.
