why would you do that? the boat is a very enjoyable part of the game and when we started playing you cannot share the crates at all.
you should have no issue with the crate limitation because that affects a different set of players (significantly)
you will want to unlock the boat because it is 1 of the few ways you get vouchers which are used to buy things when you are a higher lvl player
With a bit of luck (items needed by boat) and a good stock (availlability of the items), someone might be able to complete 2-3 boats a day in general?
Jewelry and bars also gives tickets. Jewels and bars are readily available (can trade for them or send tom to stock up).
If u have plenty jewels and bars u are probably able to do around 8-10 truck orders a day wich require metal or jewels.
So I dont see the importance in getting the boat, just for tickets.

I still would get the boat, cause it just offers an extra way of getting experience, tickets, and fun.
ofcourse now there are some limitations, but some limitations is still better then being fully limited.
Boats are still quite fun to do.
Thats just my opinion.
In the paper, I have noticed a lot more higher level farms that don't have the boat. I think they are missing out on a really fun part of the game.
There are always people that are willing to help you out, as long as you're not asking for sugar and dairy products, and it's also fun to challenge yourself to fill the rest of the crates yourself. Fast and furious in the paper, or checking out your neighbors.
Get the boat. It adds a whole different element to the game. Just don't accept the boats that people aren't able to help you with, if you can't fill them yourself.
Happy boating! :)
Thanks to some really great neighbors I'm enjoying my boats. Also having a communication tool like Kik helps.
The boat is a big part of the fun for me. You will have to cast away some boats empty, if they are too difficult. But most boats can be filled with your own supply and some help of your neighbours.
That's interesting. There is so much negative feedback on the boat but all you guys seem to really like it. Maybe I should give it a go...
N u dnt have to buy a boat... Just repair d dock.. Thats it.... N for any further info u cn always contact any of us in d captains thread http://forum.supercell.net/showthrea...p-%28part-6%29. Happy playing:D
for what it is worth, I held out for awhile before repairing my dock to get boats because I didn't really see a need for the boats. then I started craving golden vouchers for a hound dog and decided to try the boats out. This was before the crate limit but after the leader board was added.
The positive from the boat was meeting folks in The Captain III helper thread. I send the majority of my boats away now.
I did get my golden vouchers and my hound dog finally but I don't think a single gold ticket came from the boat. I got a few randomly and some more from the spinning wheel and one or two came from metal bar truck deliveries.
Whether or not you play with boats is up to you and how you want to play.

The best response given, Hoodatwhatzit.
(kind of also makes me think of a kid in the tub with his boats) :)
Well I bought the boat and it's kind of fun but some of them are impossible to fill. A ridiculous amount of sugar and cake and the boat leaving in the middle of the night (GMT+1)! I did manage to fill the boat today but that's because I wasn't working and had a friend help! Not sure yet whether it was a good buy or not but it's very pretty moored up at the dock!
Have you read the sticky thread about boat? There are good tips for you.

Thanks for the tip. I've just read the guide and see that I can send the boat away empty. And I can manipulate the timing a bit. I'll see if it improves my opinion of the boar experience. :)
There are a lot of boat complaints thats true, but that's only because we're less likely to post about "good boat days"
There are some :)
lol not many, but some - enjoy the game :D
Best boat - 4xeach 80wheat, 80wheat (lots of goodies from the field) and bacon&eggs ez shopping! :)
Buy it if u can! :D
You only hear negative things because people like complaining and like the 2nd replier said: in the first weeks of the game you werent able to ask for help at all.. ;)
I like the challenge!!
I like the boat actually but I've had to send most away empty. I've had mostly sugar and mixed berry juice which takes ages. It's quite nice filling your neighbours boats if they have more available stuff. Wheat and corn sounds like bliss!
I usually send my sugar and dairy boats away, but kept one today to challenge myself on the sugar, also because it would have been the 4th or 5th boat (sugar/dairy) in a row I would have sent away and I wanted to fill one. I didn't open any of the sugars for help though, just the other items. I don't like to ask neighbors for help on dairy and sugars. I have asked for help with jam boats, but the last couple of jam boats I've sent away because they take forever to make.
I had another good one this morning - blue hats, chili pop corn and chillis :)
(Luckily I found a screw to upgrade my silo - I needed the space in the barn - but its full again lol there's never enough space :)
