I am just going to put this here in hope SC read this and does something about it. I can't speak for the players in Champion league because I don't know much about them, but if I had to guess, then they are most likely to quit because of "
clouds", if you know what I mean.
From what I know, all my friends playing this game quit at TH7/TH8. They don't care about Clan Wars, they lost all exitement of the game because of the constant grind they have to do everyday to progress. They feel they need to commit significant amount of time to progress, and this gets worse as they go higher level. They realise this
after hitting TH7 and TH8. In their opinion, you cannot progress in this game without committing significant amount of time farming everyday or gemming, and I agree with them, as if I did not play everyday and farm constanly then I would have had sleepy builders with low level walls (Purples). Don't tell me about farming range, because not everyone comes on to the forum to check for tips on base and farming strategies. Game should not require you to visit the forum and find out what range to farm at. Farming clans doesn't help either. All my friends were actually in the correct farming range before they quit. Some of my friends in TH7 only quit because of the time it takes to upgrade a building.
I have been playing this game over a year now and I have been to many clans,
and most people I know in game who are inactive are either at TH7/8 or premature. I have visited my old clans to check if this is still true and when I went back, I found everyone with no badge, all of them are either TH7, TH8
or premature TH9/TH10. I am now TH10 with almost max out base, farming at Master League 1. I don't know anyone who has MAX TH8+ bases (Not including walls) quit this game, I know a lot of people with MAX TH8/9/10 bases that actually enjoy this game because of the time they put in to develop their base. Same thing goes for me, I am enjoying this game because I have MAX base, if I was a premmie or started the game too late then I would have quit by now. I started the game when there was no TH9. Right now I introduced this game to several of my friends, and they all not looking forward to playing this game because of the time it will take for them to get from TH1 to TH10.
Loot is a serious problem in this game, those who say otherwise are probably trolling or just the lucky few. There are numerous great suggestions that I have no doubt will fix the loot problem.
- We need more champions so people in 3600+ trophies aren't in clouds for hours. Only way to achieve this is having less farmers and more trophy pushers. Only way to achieve that is lowering costs of buildings time and resources so everyone starts getting closer to the max base. Once in Master+ the supply will increase further as more people will be earning resources from league bonuses. Another advantage of this is that new players are more likely to play this game as they will know it won't take them a year to max base.
- We need to increse the SUPPLY, if I'm not mistaken we got lvl 11 collectors at TH7. What about TH8, TH9 and TH10 collectors. Thats 3 levels missing, the cost increases significantly from TH7 to TH10. Yet people at those TH levels are stuck with TH7 collectors level.
- War League Bonus is a good addition, but this only made more people active (This is great...) and in turn lowered the loot (...this is not). The current league bonus is not great as sometimes it can cost you more to build and raid with expensive armies than you get from winning. Raiding a TH7 or TH8 base gives you VERY low league bonus. Its actually quite rediculous as TH7/8 players can make much more from raiding collector bases rather than doing war.
So I have just stated the obvious, to summarise.
- More Collector Levels Required
- War League Bonus needs to Increase especially for TH7/8 bases.
- More Champs required to avoid constant cloud, by dropping the time it takes to upgrade buildings at all TH levels. So we have more max bases and trophy pushers rather than farmers.
How Supercell Wins?
Well its obvious, trophy pushers spend more on gems then farmers. I have been farming for over a year, been to many farming clans and none of the farmers that I know would spend gem to level up a building. They would spend it only to get the remaining builders. When there is a clan push they would spend gems to boost barracks/heroes/spells or instant gem their troops. Either way SC wins when there are more trophy pushers than farmers. So increasing loot and reducing the time it takes to upgrade buildings will benefit SC as well as players. It will also mean more players and less quitters based on my findings. So Win Win for all.
