They don't buy shields. Shields have a cool down period. They leave their clan. Have a clan mate go offline with defense separated. Then they attack that clan mate for 1 star (free trophy) then they have their clan mate revenge them and only do 40-50% damage for another free trophy and a free 12hr shield. Most of the trophies that they have we're not earned but given to them by fellow clan buddies.
The only real work they put it was to get near the top. But since that point it's been nothing but cheating to move up.

Sounds about what he described in his interviews.

FYI - you can't buy a shield if you have over 3000 trophies. They added that 2 updates ago.

Well if he described that in his interview, isnt that considered cheating? Hes basically getting free trophies from friends, how come that is allowed and why hasnt he been banned?

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure what he's doing isn't the way devs envisioned the current system being used, but he isn't exploiting any glitch, or breaking any rules.

I think from a coding standpoint, it would be all but impossible to code some logic to keep that from happening.

Guys Jorge said it himself, he might not be able to stay #1 forever.
