In a clan, if one i our members are close by getting a new upgrade, they could have a button on their clan castle that says request for resources and make a achievement that says donate this much to your clan mates thx looking forward on this next update.

people could funnel resources to a base with a shield and give back later
also you can have multiple accounts and funnel resources to one main account
There could be limitations around people transferring loot to their main account...
For example an IP indicator could be used. This means that you cannot transfer loot to the same IP.
The idea of donating recourses to clan mates has been ruled out it is a good idea but supercell has said no to this idea in the past
donating spells would also be great
