Why shouldn't you rush your Town Hall
rushing to th7 is very benficinal if you farm a lot
Less loot percentage per attack and town halls above you can take a greater percentage of loot from you. If you're a big farmer, it really cuts into how much loot you can steal because your troops aren't upgraded enough to take on more advanced bases with higher loot.
As mentioned before it depends on what you are rushing to.
If you are TH4 wanting to get to 7 then I say do it and don't look back.
But if you are TH7 and want to rush to TH 9 then a
I say good luck. And if your clan suffers as a result find another clan.
Troops is the big one at higher THs. Level 5 is minimum for farming TH8-9s.
If your troops, spells, army camps are maxxed, or at least the ones you use (even occasionally), you could make the jump with defense 1 level off max. The more you have maxxed the better though. I did all defenses to max bar tesla at TH7 and struggling a lot less than others in my clan that jumped early.
At TH8 there is so much to do in the lab that all defense will be close enough or done. The basic teir 1&2 farming troops are 20-30 days alone.
rushing a TH in a clan system:
- in standard play, you get fewer trophies for destroying a TH that is below yours. So a "premmie" TH will make it take longer to reach higher league lvl's.
- In war play, you will get matched against clans with similar numbers of the highest TH lvl's, so having 1 TH10 may end up causing your team to be overmatched against a clan with 3+ TH10's.
The ONLY logical reason to rush your TH lvl's is to have access to the new buildings. Such as new defensive structures.
It takes long enough to upgrade each building, and research each troop that you dont NEED to rush your TH. Finish a TH. Put one builder on upgrades, one builder on new stuff and any others on extra's that you consider high priority. By the time your priority upgrades are done, you will be ready to handle the next TH lvl without rushing.
The number of cups available is determined only by the difference of trophies between you and the opponent.
Also, TH level doesn't come into clan war matchmaking. However, a premmie TH10 with infernos and x-bows will be ranked higher than a relatively maxed TH9.
If they are rushing past TH7/8. Watch this video so you can explain better. Or you could just let them rush. No stress, no hassle.

There is 2 type of rush:
1. Without knowing anything -> This is bad, this will make you suffer
2. You knew about how loot works -> You should rush, this is much better than maxing your TH.
check out links on my sigs because I take the second path and I'm doing very fine on both normal game and CW.
