I currently have level 4 and 5 walls, and I have been good with upgrading my defenses already.
Here are some of my defenses :
FIVE level 7 cannons
FOUR level 6 archers
TWO level 2 wizard towers
THREE level 3 mortars
TWO level 1 air defenses
That's my defenses and I have pretty low walls backing them up..
I just reached one million gold so i'm wondering which one, walls or defenses, I should upgrade.
Just keep a builder free to work on walls.
But should I upgrade my walls first or not?Quote:

Depending on when your defense upgrades are completed....try to plan ahead and have enough gold to do a few walls and have enough leftover to upgrade defense right after. This way...by the time your defenses are maxed, you will have less walls to upgrade, you can then finish the rest while your TH is upgrading.
for what it's worth...I was max walls for th8 before upgrading to th9. Been at th9 about 3-4 weeks now and beginning to do lvl9 walls (8 so far). I think once you fall behind on walls...it's really tough to get back on track with the cost of defenses in th9/th10

Umm... alright, you are giving this guy bad advise. Level 1 teslas are not that great, and I pgraded my other defenses before getting them. Secondly, only 2 air defenses are available at town hall 7, tho it does need to be pgraded. And the way you are telling him to upgrade is a bad idea. Having all three of your most powerful defeses upgrading at once will seriously weaken his base, he should mix these in along with points.Quote:

Also, this guy can easily do 2 defenses at oonce. You're less likely to be attacked badly with jack available for loot. Just make sure to spend elixir. Keep that lab busy.
Teslas are only single target but they are another line of defense for your base, and the fact they are hidden can be used strategically, and when they are upgraded they are deadlier. Why wouldn't you want something that helps defend your base?Quote:

I would max splash (wiz and mortar) and then do your walls to lvl 7.
Why? Because splash is your best defense against standard farming troops. So maxing that, and then going on with the rest of your defenses is the best way to go because you walls are getting severely underleveled.

That's damage per sec. Mortars fire shots every 5 secs i believe. So take the damage x 5 and it's good. It's just super slow!Quote:
