If u think 20 min is too long that means u request TOO much I only request a few times a week and by few I mean 1 or 2 times true u may be lvl 80 and need the extra defense but I'm sure u don't get attacked every ten minutes.
Even for my only barb archer army it still takes 20 minutes to build it. Those are the fastest troops and it still takes 20 minutes! So I can only attack every 20 minutes, thus I only need troops every 20 minutes. Unless you're getting attacked every 10 minutes then you don't need it. And if you do get attacked that often you must have a crappy base with a lot of resources.
Yes, the time needs to be decreased. I am in a HEAVY donation clan. There are no problems at all with donations, so we could definitely support a decreased time with ease. We donate for offensive purposes 10:1 over defensive purposes i think.
I think the time between requests should be dependent upon the total number of troops donated in a week, either personally or in the clan as a whole. I donated nearly 4,500 last week but certainly didnt request nearly as much. Maybe if your whole clan has 25,000 total troop donations in a week then it indicated your clan can support a decreased time and the lime limit is reduced to 15 minutes.... or something like that?
