I would actually suggest you to redesign the base.

But if you insist on using it, then use those wasted walls to extend another row infront of your de storage and btm right wiz tower..

Here is my current setup. Missing my wizard towers....


My original goals with this were:

1.) Center CC
2.) Center Gold, DE
3.) Segment Gold/DE
4.) Compartmentalize outer ring, increasing potential WB targets.
5.) Minimize exterior t-junctions, aiming to have 2+ segment joints to minimize wb splash.
6.) Traps pathing with HT etc.
7.) Everything else standard (triangle, close to center splash towers etc)

Also, currently thinking of switching to 3 storages to split things up when attacked. Also looking at moving storages out further, but that is all in the land of Excel right now....

Looks great... I love how you only have 2 storages and never upgraded the third ones, I wish I had done this.

I still have only two storages of each for my TH8 layout. The 3rd storages are lvl 1 and are more decoys than anything else. I haven't decided which is better:

A) Two storages means less to protect
B) Three storages means they have to work really hard to get all of the stored gold

Any input? I'm trying to decide this before redesigning me base.

I would go with 3 storages and just make a base that segments them well. It is in fact harder to get more loot from 1 storage if 3 of them are maxed.

Can you farm 4m+ a day ?
If so, you should get 3 storages. I hate being forced to farm for DE when my gold storages are maxed out.

And since you seen my vid before, you should know about "complete elixir upgrades asap" and "dump elixir elsewhere" tactic of mine haha.

1) your BK can't do anything up in the timeout corner
2) when someone lightnings your DE it will hit the other storages too:(

I can but at the moment all of my gold is being poured into walls. Decisions, decisions...
