That's... odd.

i see no reason why the community couldn't create a new base design thread (or threads) if we wanted to. i can't imagine the mods doing anything to prevent such a thing.

it isn't like the current thread is stickied so switching to a new thread causes no harm.

Honestly, I don't see the harm in the community collectively undermining the base designs thread in favor of small, separated ones. In fact, I wholeheartedly support it. The thing is, though, that the mods intervened to shut down the old one. A notable fact here is that Sneaky's is already significantly larger than Pedro's was. But if they wouldn't stop us, I would be in favor of seeing it done.
