It's fine. Get over it and learn how to deploy troops so they go where you want them to go. Ground troops, use wall breakers. Air troops, loons go for defenses, etc. etc. Do I really need to cover this?

You can tell them where to go. Simply scream instructions into the mic after you drop them. The louder you scream the more accurately they follow your instructions.
Get used to it. After some testing, I got the hang of it!
