...on an Island in the Gulf of Mexico....
Perky you have to stop! I am laughing so long and loud and my husband is looking at me and I can't even explain it to him. He wouldn't get it
But I was thinking about how you would feel about the fact that I had four of these guys all at the spa,all at the same time. I told Katie, you wouldn't approve.
Ok back on topic. I like that it has changed the way I play the game. I can't play on auto pilot anymore. I am running out of things I never an out of. I am only getting a few gift cards a day because I haven't gotten into a routine yet. I am turning more boats away but the ones I keep get helped very quickly, so I can tell everyone is playing differently from each other and from me.
The only thing I don't like is that I don't get here as often. Maybe that's a good thing based on what Shealie alluded to in the first post. I am not seeing the negativity, so I guess that's good too.
What a lot of people have already mentioned, but particularly the details that went into creating the town. For instance, one of the visitors, the demure lady with the yellow dress I think, when you serve her and she gives you a gift, she loses her cool for a split second with this priceless facial expression and jump, and then she goes back to being a "lady". When I realized that for the first time, I started to pay closer attention to all the details like the inside of the buildings involving as you upgrade etc.
my second favorite thing would be the whole idea and experience of the town; the fact that the products I make on the farm are sold in the town to customers who arrive by a train!!!! So cool, makes me feel like a real farmer
LOL, Ella, I hadn't noticed that little lady's antics! I'll have to pay closer attention! LOVE the yum, mmmm! as a previous poster mentioned. Cracks me up every time I serve the visitors. I'm about halfway to Level 13 (from level 12) and am going to pay super close attention every time I expand so I can see what changes inside and out.
I love that when you tap on the B&B and someone's inside, they yell out as if you peeked through the curtains.
Have you noticed the different ways she holds her purse? Sometimes she holds the purse part and lets the straps fall and other times she holds the straps and the purse hangs like a usual purse does. It's funny.
Speaking of inside of buildings: my cinema now has regular seats instead of stools (my customers tell me they appreciate that) and my spa has a rubber ducky in the pool. Unless that was there when I opened it, not sure. Very fun though :)
What brand of industrial cleaner did you use after the 4 locals left your spa? I would close my doors for a few days for a proper cleaning if I were you. They seem pretty nasty. Perky says they don't wear undies! While I won't refuse service to anyone, I AM a fan of a clean establishment here at Humboldt Health & Happiness Hut. If I gotta close down a day or two to disinfect, I will. But I might change my rules to 'no bloomers, no business'. LOL.
I think I might have to turn on the games sounds so I can hear the noises the townies make.
I love that I have a new area to decorate and I love that the beach has shells and other sandy items on it. I also really enjoy that the townies give us all kinds of expansion materials, even if I'd willingly sell my soul for the maps that are hard to find. Also, I just now realized that even when the townies ask for items we'd normally never want to part with, we get rewarded with something we wouldn't want to part with anymore. So in the long run by letting go of some precious items like dairy products, we actually get some rarer to find items as a reward. It defiantly pays off. I think I'll stop turning them away now! (:
I didn't notice the sounds with the B&B Shea, I'm going to have to pay more attention this time lol. And I just realized the ocean actually makes sounds, so much to still discover. And I'll keep my eye on the lady's purse love hayday, didn't noticed the way she clutches it, maybe she thinks the strong man is going to rob her:p, better yet the grand master....it's always the unsuspected ones ;)
