If you can only choose one...

The upgrade times on the minion, hog rider, and valkyrie are obscene--around 60 days to get any of them maxed. In that time I expect we'll have at least one new update, probably two, and that my interests will migrate. That said, if you really only have time to max ONE of the three DE troops before the next update, which do you think it should be?

The flying minion?

The leaping hog rider?

The slashing, splash dmging valkyrie?

Tell me which, and why, please.

The minion, because it is the cheapest and is useful (relative to the valk and Mr. T) for farmers as well as trophy hunters. I think minions will continue to be the most used DE troop.

Minion is 10 dark elixir per 45 seconds, and Mr.T is 50 dark per 5 minutes. This makes the minion a little more expensive for farmers, and farmers usually don't use air troops, so minions will just get totally ravaged by air bombs and air defense anyway. Mr. T on the other hand, is just another ground troop to help out your current army's recharge rate :)

For me Mr. T's the way to go!

I have no experience with the gingergirl, so I'm not going to comment about her either..

First of all, when people refer to cost, or at least when I do, I am referring to cost per housing space. Minions are cheaper by that metric, as 3 minions is 1 hog rider as far as camp space goes.

Also, I personally don't find Mr. T very useful. Valks are good but are too darn expensive.

That metric doesn't really suit farmers; farmers have their barackses running at all times right? I know I do :p
I knew what you were referring to though :)
I find Mr. T pretty nice, he's like a faster (not sure if a good thing or a bad thing), buffier, stonger and better looking barb :)

That was not what I was saying. I was saying that a farmer that has his barackses running at all times is cheaper off with Mr. T's than with minions.

Either way.. I think I'll never have either one maxed soon, they take so damn long!

No farmer cares about this. If pekkas cost 100 elixir, I still wouldn't train them because it takes too damn long. It's all about resources raided per unit time.
