Return home?

I didn't find any related topic in the search, sorry if I'm mistaken.
Ok so I'm in a clan where people donate like crazy, so it's very important to be fast and donate before the request is completely filled up.
More than once (and I mean more than 100 TIMES) I've had the issue that if i'm visiting a person's village or watching a replay, I cannot donate until I'm back home (that's how the game calls it, I refer to your own village.) WHY??
More than losing possible donations, I see it as tedious having to go back home everytime.
So why not letting us donate while visiting or replaying...
Please tell reasons why this should or shouldn't be implemented. Maybe I'm just not aware of something...

Because you can't donate your troops from your home while visiting somebody else's:p

I can see the problem here but either way.. how are you going to donate your troops when you are visiting someone else. :p

Well it's not really necessary seeing as how the donation screen shows the number of each troop we have available. What difference does it make wherever we are.

Or was this meant as a joke..? If so I am sorry.
