I'm town Hall 7 and I'm having trouble farming, trophies are not the issue, I am unable to find bases that have good enough loot. I've been in gold 3 and i still haven't found good enough bases. What should I do?

Deal with it. It happens.
Are you doing collector raid? Get a few WB and learn how to go for the storage. Yes you can still barch for storage with WB. Or learn any other strategy that goes for storage.
I'm dealing with the same problem, so I fixed it by lowering my trophy to silver 1
