Golems are so much better IMO. Spring traps don't work on them and they also seem to attract the attention of defenses for a bit longer than giants.
If you are using six giants and one of them dies the dps will be lower so by the time 3 or more giants die they wont do any damage.
Another thing is spalsh where golem wins. 6 giants get banged 294 DPS a second by a a maxed WT. Also Golemite get springed
Sorry for double post but I guess against a discoball 5 giants wiill take all damage yet wizzies are doing damage. But golem will take one beam rest will be borne by wizzies
Also against single giants take damage one by one thus it takes time to heat
I would say Giant cause you can spread them out (My Logic)
Not vs Th10, then you gotta factor in that Healer are the most commons support unit for giants. Making they great tanks but also prone to AI problems, more traps, and Air Defenses
I only need to try and attack an advanced Th10 with giants and then with Golems to see the difference. With all the splash and mulch-target towers, giants just don't cut it
Golems are better as it distracts defs until it dies which means that the base basically has no defenses where a golem is as they are locked onto that until it dies
