As of tonight. I ahave stopped my Quest.

I have found a glass Ceiling that is preventing me from getting past 2600 trophies.

It is not from raiding bases. but from out of Sync Issues.

it has gotten so bad, im now being attacked even with my shields on.

I had a 16 hour shield on, left. came back 4 hours later only to find I was attacks 4 more times.

all were 2 and 3 star attacks.

I feel that in this last update something broke.

I have the 1st Gen Ipad. <-- also a possible cause

As of now all investment and game play has been halted. While i try and find out the cause of this problem.

specs:
I am currently on a fractional t1 line. 100mbit line no problems and traffic is flowing fine. both up and down.
to ensure its not my line. I have connected on both ATT's 6mbit dsl and xfinity top teir cable lines. as well as ay my company. This issue has happened at all locations. I do not feel this to be a ISP problem.

I have deleted/reinstalled the game
I have reset and Perged the memory.
I have reinstalled the IOS
I have ran a full memory Diagnostic.
I have played other IOS games.

final result. I am still having massive server sync issues.

my hypothosis:

too many people may be logging on or are logged on causing issues with the server connection thus causeing Sync issues. If this is the case. I will need to login at different times of the day and night to see if slower parts of the day or night have any affect on sync.

If all this fails. I will then look in to support and see if this can be resolved.

If this is issues with Ipad 1st GEN. I might be forced to upgrade finally.

Good lord get a newer iPad.

Well i am on an ipad 1, usually on a 4 Mbit adsl but sometimes a 3G connection when i'm travelling - sync issues happen once every couple of hours if that.

OP I suspect you have reached another kind of glass ceiling i.e. you have realised what we all knew which is it's not only you who is trying to get to the top and it's not just money that is needed, skill and time come into it as well.

I suspect you hit a $$$ ceiling and you found out that your previous calculation is "slightly" off.... good riddance though

i am facing the same problem like once per day, i am using an ipad two and running the latest IOS,

If money is never an issue get a newer iPad... Geezzz... Every once in a while everyone had sync issues/problem ,what makes you so special that you can't continue your "quest"?

Can I have the old iPad?

my gameplay is of a slower pace, and I'm sure it will cope better. Plus it'll still be an improvement on my 3GS.

On a side-note...it's all good and well spouting about the network connection you 'have', but in reality, it's still wireless, and it will go at the slowest speed wherever that will be along the way.

The wireless on my 3GS is soo bad, that I only play when I'm within 3metres of a router. Even then I may still get only 2-bars.
