How to three star a maxed th8 at th7 (dragon series)
Since the clan wars update came out, my clanmates n I tried a variety of tactics, from mass drag, mass loon, mass hog (n sometimes a combination of the three.. Lol) n some strategy worked n some didn't, here is a few that worked n a few that didn't
MASS DRAG V. 1
-army comp.
11 level 2 dragons (including cc)
3 lv4 lightning spells (costly)
OK, the most obvious dragon tactic when u r a th7, zapp the strongest air defense n just mass spam the dragons, easy right? Must be guaranteed three star,
NOPE, using lightning spells might work on th7, but the two air defense on th8 will be a pain, plus, if the base is made to counter dragons, you might even fail at getting even 1 star, so, yeah probably not the best tactic.

Drage (or what my team mates call it) is a fairly strong tactic, it Might be able to three star most th8 bases (depending on the power of the air defense) - no, it couldn't take on th9s, since they have like 4 AD, so yea it's a good comp
Dragons, when you first use it, must be an epic fail (dragons flying in the WRONG direction) but you can prevent that! By funneling dragons.
How? Use one or two drags to clear the side buildings n leave the middle structure untouched, then deploy your dragons in a line (they have high damage, don't spam it in one location)
OK, so now you're in, and the AD is pummeling your dragons, now what? The most obvious choice might be to deploy your rage right where the closest dragon is to the AD.
Oops, wait, he's probably dead by now, not the best way to waste your rage, I prefer wasting my rage on a bunch of giants :)
So how? Flank the air defense, use your rage the weakest spot near the AD, that's where the AD will die,
And by doing that, you will concentrate your dragons, now use it on the last few air defense, (UNLESS IT'S NOT REALLY A DRAGON PROOF BASE JUST USE ONE RAGE OR TWO)

What's better than an army of undying dragons? Just like the Drage attack insert the dragons, then deploy heal, couldn't possibly go wrong, right?

False, AIR DEFENSES HAS A HORRIBLY HIGH DAMAGE, (lvl 6 ad has like, 230 or 240 damage) n of course it will die, in a painful death, better than no spell, but it's like no spell, n u can't control the dragons! :(
Like the first version, it's not the best tactic for mass drag, n a th8 air defense will give no mercy.
So you're in, and the air defenses are killing your fire-breathing babies, n u try to heal them, nope, it will just keep decreasing, n eventually, die,
