League of GFX : First Competition!

Hey everyone. This is the host of League of GFX calling. If you've enrolled for League of GFX, it's your time to shine.

TODAY'S COMPETITION DETAILS:

Medium: SIGNATURES!
Maximum Dimensions: 600 x 200 px (This is a double of the max. forum size to enable more creativity on the canvas.)
Theme: Summer or fire (try to incorporate ice cream. Ice cream is cool.)


Deadline : June 15th
(THAT IS TODAY!) GET SUBMITTING!
After this deadline, the public will be allowed to vote for their favourite artwork on a separate thread. See above for point system.

Basically, this competition will allow you to gain points. Designers gain 6 points for a win, 4 points for runner up, 3 points for 2nd runner up and 2 points for 3rd runner up, one point for all the others WHO SUBMIT. No points will be awarded if your entry is not submitted before the deadline. The decision of points will be up to the community members of the Clash forum through a public poll on another thread. If the votes are equal between the 2 winners, most decision rights will be up to me - I will consider the reception from community members. If points are equal between the runner ups, points will be rewarded the same. I.e if there were four 2nd runner ups, they would still all get 3 points.

EXTREME IMPORTANT NOTE WHEN SUBMITTING: Do not put your name on the signature. If you want to add text, subtext such as "master of GFX" is acceptable, as long as it does not reveal your identity. This is to prevent the league from becoming a popularity contest. Also, do NOT USE OR POST YOUR COMPETITION ENTRY ANYWHERE DURING THE ENTRY PHASE, OTHERWISE YOUR IDENTITY WILL BE LEAKED. (heheheheh spy world) . You can only start using it after the results have been voted for. You can also resubmit your entry. BUT ONLY ONCE! Entries are accepted through PM.

- Create your own signature according to the competition details and don't put your identity in their
- PM me the entry, DO NOT POST THE ENTRY ANYWHERE ELSE DURING THE COMPETITION PHASE.

hey also put in the rules that do not post your sig entry anywhere else during the entry phase(most of the time to ask for tips or to show off a bit). At Gfx Resource, competitons have that rule.

Can we use a sig we learned/copied off a tutorial. If I was host, I would say no unless its a different render and not the one in the tutorial because is basically using someone's else work and not yours
