Hi all!
I don't know if anyone else has posted this idea, but i guess many clans have had problems with both inactive members in a clan and those who does not / cannot contribute due to other matters.
Some have solved it by kicking the people not as active as others, some people who don't want to be part of war drops cups, but that may only solve it for a limited amount of people. Others choose to leave the clan for a while, to be sure to not get caught in a war.
IMO neither of those are any good solutions. Social aspects gets a hit when we have to kick people we may like that are not super active. Dropping cups may put players in a league where they cannot find loot, and also people leaving the clan for a while to not be part of next war is frustrating, and all of the above might contribute to clan drama.
My take on a solution for the above mentioned is having a "War leader", one person nominated by the leader - to simply put clan members on/off for the next war.
This person should be able to see in the clan member list if people have opted to be in/out of next war, and thereby put them on / off. (Before button gets pushed and prep day.)
I also think it would be a good idea if this war leader can replace say someone who have left the clan during prep day, with another player eager to join. Replacement should only be possible with a member that has opted to be "in" war.
That means that a member has to flick the switch himself to be a possible replacer. (Manageable during prep day). People that already has opted "in" are locked to it since prep day start, but replaceable by war leader if decided so.
To keep wars fair, the replacer needs to be close level match to the one replaced, and been in the clan for say 72 hours.
There should also be a maximum amount of people being replaced.
Supercell, do you think you can fine tune this idea?
Thanks btw for a truly great game!
