Hello all, I am trying to decide which is an overall better unit to use during raids.. I know each unit has each of its strengths and weaknesses. But bare with me. During raids. What should I use?

I currently am level 37 and my max barracks is lvl 7 i believe.
I have yet to unlock any troops beyond the Wizard, so for now I prefer Archers over barbs. The barbs are just so dumb, I use a mix of both at times but find the archers do a better job in general. With goblins in behind and Giants and WB paving the way forward.
Both are an excellent combination. 'Nuff said
It's a tough choice. Barbs can take 2 or 3 mortar hits, but archers can destroy things behind walls. Combination would be the best way of training your army.
If I'd want to make a raid fast and cheap, I'd choose more swordsmen over archers. At least they survive at least one hit from mortars >_> But then, archers are ranged and shoot stuff over walls whenever you don't have a spare wallbreaker with you, increasing your chances of winning even though they cost twice as much elixir as swordsmen. It all boils down whether you're trophy hunting or farming resources.
Archers would be great if they weren't so dumb. They'll spend ages shooting at a random wall when you want them firing over it! Kind of the point of them in the first place. The AI is terrible.
My farming army is 120 barbs, 40 archers, and 40 gobs. Guess what I voted? They are both great.

If your looking for resources(farming is what its called) then barbs and goblins are your best bet.
If you want trophies archers are way superior.
My advice research immensely in archers.
