I accidentally upgraded my TH before maxing my walls.... There is only 2 days left till the TH finishes upgrading. I only have 20 lv7 walls (the rest of them are lv6). I don't want to cancel the upgrade since i will lose 1m gold (and 109 gems; I accidentally used gems, too). What should I do? :(
Cancel it, you will lose a lot more gold with the loot penalty and now th 9s will be able to attack you with a very small penalty
Are your defenses maxed? If it's just your walls, leave your Town Hall and try to do as many walls as you can as fast as possible. The loot penalty is not significant enough to worry about at TH 8, and TH 9s won't bother you if you're spending your gold on walls.
If you're not even close to maxing TH 7, cancel it and take the hit.
Canceling would not be worth it, trust me. It's better to just wait until the upgrade finishes and finish up the walls and then begin on the next level walls. it will be fine its not the end of the world, you will have less loot from lower town halls. but if you were to attack a town hall 10 you would recieve more loot cause you would be attacking a town hall that is two levels higher than yours. i suggest just farming silver I if you dont have enough loot to finish upgrades and whatnot. i am a town hall 8 and i am close to maxing out all my defenses but i have been farming silver I for months now. just take your time and dont cancel upgrades its a terrible idea the gold loss would be colossal especially at town hall 9 since it costs 3,000,000 to upgrade and takes 10 days. its not worth it to cancel the time it takes to upgrade the town hall is crazy, and canceling would take even more time. canceling to upgrade a few walls would not be worth it. trust me you will be fine.

Yes... I found NO difference in loot between th7, and th8... I have been in th8 a few monthes now and almost maxed... Except for walls, lvl 7, 8 walls are a pain.Quote:
