What should I upgrade?
I am a town hall 8. These are all I don't have maxed yet, which is quite a few.
In Terms of Defenses:
Lvl8 cannons, lvl5 air defenses, lvl1,2,3 teslas
In Terms of Troops
Dragons and healers are lvl3. No Pekkas
Rage and Heal Spells lvl 4 and DE troops are level 1.
In Terms of Regulars:
Barracks 2 Lvl 8 2 Lvl9
Storages one lvl6 gold one lvl5 elixir
Dark Barracks one lvl2 and one lvl1
De storage lvl2
Pumps lvl10
Heroes
Barb King lvl4
-Drill (to max)
-Lab (max archers and barbs, giants if thats your playstyle)
-Barb king to 5 asap, this is my 3rd forum reply encouraging to get his iron fist ability. He's a power house if used right.
Defenses between all that
Whatever i didn't say is already maxed. any defenses and regular building suggestions?Quote:

Cannons to level 9 are pretty important as at that level they start to 1 hit level 5 archers and wallbreakers.
I do not think there is a cookie cutter method to determine the best order for you as there are many variables.
If you are online all the time have all 5 builders working on mortars and wiz towers day and night until they are done and then move to AD and Teslas dumping extra gold in walls when you do go offline. Manage shields, don't break them just for one raid, sit under protection and keep loot if you are saving to start the next builder.
I am nearing the end of my TH8 career. I plan to start my last AD tonight and last tesla upgrade as soon as I have the gold behind it. I'll spend a week or so working on walls before I start the TH9 upgrade.
There is another account in my home which is a more fresh TH8 where one AD and / or one Tesla are upgraded first, right along with one mortar and / or one wiz tower.
The reasoning for pushing the AD and Tesla up is because of timing. With 5 builders and a fairly routine schedule the longer upgrade times mixed with shorter create an overall faster build time and avoids having all of one type under construction at once.
This is all purely my opinion having seen two accounts go through this, I have not added up, or kept logs, and certainly haven't been to masters :)
I do think the teslas and ad are much more important than I originally thought and I maxxed them at TH7. They do make a difference. Get the AT and Cans max at 7, do 1 upgrade each at 8, and dont go back to them until the teslas are maxxed unless its an arch and it just works out for builder times.
Research depends on you too, archers first always, but then what do you farm with? Or, does your clan expect you to be a top hitter in clan wars? If it's the latter use the lvl4 barbs until you get your hogs leveled up. I did arch, wiz, hog, hog, giant, barb, wb, gob, loon, and got the mins to lvl4 which are sweet at our TH
No. This game is a long haul for one, I don't see the point in rushing this fast. You're basically just focusing on offense, which is fine, but you don't even have any level 4 troops yet. TH 8 offers no offensive upgrades besides higher level troops and spells, so there's no point in rushing it.
Also, if you keep rushing, you're going to start to suffer from loot penalty. I'm sorry, but your skills will not keep up with the type of bases you'll have to be able to raid if you keep rushing like you are. You're just digging your own grave going this fast.

i get 250k raids constantly at th8 and th8 offers the rage spells and level 5 troops which are amazing. it also has the De drill and the capacity to actually hold off attackers.Quote:
