Which do you like the best out of the archer tower and the cannon?

Just wondering which is preferred. I might have to go with the cannon even though I do like how the archer tower defends more tiles.

Archer towers, they got better range. And they contain some ladies on them.

Archer towers
They are better in general because at level 11, they do just as much damage as a level 11 cannon with more range
