My suggestion would be: Find the spot where you get the fastest gold in an hourly basis and stay there til the end of time, til you upgrade to TH9. After TH9, you're on your own. Every trophy range will feel almost the same. Make sure you max your pump if you don't wanna GEM resources. Nomsayin? ;)
Ultimately, don't make the same mistake I did. :(
What mistake was that - why are pumps so important? Upgrading them takes ages and only offers something like 300 per hour. I have 2 L10 gold mines and 3 L8. My elixir pumps are all L6...please share your wisdom on this matter Pedro!Quote:

Because of this guide, I've been farming for about 4-5 days now with some great results. So thanks again to Pedro and other contributors. I recently finished my TH 7 upgrade and I'm almost done upgrading all of my walls to purple. Definitely could not have been this far along had I stayed at my normal trophy level.
Now having said that, I've noticed one thing while down at 0 trophy level that I wanted to ask about. When I farm, I normally attack with all gobs, with some occasional wbs. If I'm picky enough, I usually run into bases with completely unprotected resources where I can snatch up 150K-190K in gold using only 8-10 gobs.
So here's my long winded question. Why the hell do some people attack me with all of their troops at 0 trophy level?!? Just recently, I was attacked by a level 69 player (I'm level 44 with TH 7) with 15 Giants, 115 Archers, and 10 WBs to get 135K gold from me. I'm not mad because being raided is obviously part of this game. I'm more confused why you would waste all those troops to get 135K in gold when you could normally do it with just gobs. Doesn't this defeat the whole purpose of "farming"??? I just don't understand this logic by some folks. Am I missing something?
I don't get that either. It's also why I don't farm at zero. This occurance is quite common. I guess there are just a bunch of people that stay down there to farm the farmers. Seems counter productive to me for them to use pekkas and spells, but to each his own. I farm at around 800 where I almost always get a free shield, and I don't have to spend a bunch of time dropping down at the start of every play session.Quote:

Maxed pumps are important. First, they can produce 432k of resource per day. Imagine having that on a daily basis. Not only it helps each farmer reduce their farming quantities, it will also helps the community add resource to the food chain.Quote:

That is having 5 builders. Imagine 5 days with max pumps will give you 2m+ resources. That is just enough for your next upgrade given you also farm.
Very simple, if you have stayed there at zero longer, you'll find yourself having enormous amounts of unused elixir. You'll be willing to trade that for gold won't you? Also, maybe those attackers were the TH9 owners. Searches got narrowed for us which maybe the reason why some of them just go for gold over 100k if they get lazy searching.Quote:

Why people attack you instead of easy preys, because searches has narrowed for TH9 owners. If they are TH8 owners, maybe they're just bored to search or for some other various reasons.
Plus, what HBCA said could be another factor.
Well I used to get my resources in the 1700-1800 trophy level and elixir was easy to get as long as you have level 4 troops (although level 5 archers would be very helpful). I usually always gained 30-150k elixir (including troop costs) and 100k gold per battle (including gold wasted to find a match). Maybe that 100-200 trophy difference made such a difference that it effected the amount of loot, but I doubt it since I attacked those with 2.3k trophies and black skull walls for defence with difficult bases. My army was only barbs (lvl 4) and archers (lvl 5) with a 180 camp size and I won 95% of my attacks. Maybe an average player who does spend quite a lot on their army struggles to gain resources and doesn't know how to effectively use rush builds properly, and if that is so, I guess I'm just the better attacker :cool:. Also, when I got lucky, it was against people with 180-250k of each resource, and 100k gold bases were easily found after 10-15 battles.Quote:
