Depends ....

If your troops are working well for you on offense ,and your defense is winning a fair amount for you , I would wait and continue upgrading .

If you are struggling on offense and your troops are already maxed at TH 7, I would upgrade to TH8, upgrade the Lab,then upgrade the troops .

If you are struggling on defense but still have upgrades left for TH7, I would wait .

If you are struggling on defense, and your defenses are maxed , I would upgrade to TH8

What HBCA said and if ever in terms of farming, it's safe until TH8. Before you upgrade to TH9, make sure your pumps can support your further upgrades.

Majority of your matches will be prioritizing TH8-9 players on the same range.

I cant even get down that far in terms of cups...140-200 is where i seem to be stuck...

Also most fights are for less than 10k gold / elixir

Still not convinced on this given it costs over 500 gold per fight and you must skip a few to get to one worth engaging...

Maybe im not low enough...

I have seen a few fights with over 100k gold...but they are other farmers with solid defences and my army of goblins are not suited to taking down crystal walls and wizards

If you have read the first page, I mentioned good loots starts at 0-19 trophy.

I've read it...

I cant get there. I lose all my fights and only drop 1 trophy...I have 140. Then I log off, win a defence even though my TH is outside my base and win 40+ .. . ♥♥♥...takes me ages just to get back to 140.

Is the only way to just sacrifice 140 troops by skipping avery fight and losing at the same time...using the next / deploy trick?
