Possible Easy Solution to The Boost Issue and Maintenance
Simple, rather than having 5 minutes notice (if you are online) prior to the break, have it set so that 2 hours before the break will begin, when a player gets online he/she sees a warning that in 2 hours a break will begin. Or, if the player is already online, simply display it on the screen the same way that the 5 minute warning is displayed.
If loot prior to break is great and players still want to boost, go for it! But at least with this they'd know beforehand that they may not get all of their paid for boosting time.
This also seems easier than SC trying to "pause boosts," I mean really, time issues never get worked out... :rolleyes:
