I have a few questions about the game..

Hi everybody, I'd like to start off by saying that I'm new to the game and am enjoying my time playing very much but am worried about a few things before I plunk down some money for gems to help speed up a few things and to help myself.

1) My Elixir Collector (Level 4) says it can produce 800 per hour does this mean that I could leave the game and not play it and come back in an hour to collect my 800 elixir it has produced? Of course I'd have to have a shield up in order to not be attacked.

2) When my town/clan (Not sure what people call it) is raided, can the gold and elixir in my bar (At the top right corner of the screen) be stolen/looted? If so how much of it? This part has me weary of spending my money for gems because for me I'd hate to have paid real money for some stuff only to have some of it partially stolen/raided/looted.

With that being said, I believe those are my only questions I have for now. I was going to ask for advice on what to build next but as there's a forum specifically for that I will make a topic for it there, rather than go off topic here. So if you'd like to help me out I'll post a topic in that forum shortly.

Welcome! TNT's remark about flammy's guides is very true. They are a great place to start and can be found here: http://clashofclans.wikia.com/wiki/F...trategy_Guides. The wiki is full of tons of other great information. Spend some time there for sure.

In an hour that collector will produce 800 elixir, you are correct.

When your town/village/base is raided the amount that the attacker can steal varies based on relative TH levels. If someone is the same TH as you they can get 50% from your collectors, 25% from your storages (capped at 198k) and the 1k of each from your TH. Each of those amounts has a multiplier based on the relative TH level. All of this information is also available on the wiki.

1) Yes, your collectors still produce while you're not playing, as your army camp, research, and spell factory.

2) The gold / elexir in your bar is what you have in your storages. It can be looted for 25% of what you have (up to 198k). Plus your collectors can be looted for 50% of uncollected gold / elexir.

Thanks, I was reading over Flammy's guide and watching his videos the past 2 days, was just looking for a percentage number of just how much I might lose. I guess there's no telling since I'll never know the exact level of who will be open to attacking me and when they do it.

1. Level up your gold mines/collectors to at least 5 so you're not missing out on excess resources when you're gonna be gone for a while like going to bed or something. If the mine/collector is full, it will not produce more over its capacity.

2. Yes. Up to 25% from your storages (max 198k) and 50% from your collectors.

i have maxed collectors, but u should upgrade them to lv6 only.

If you are buying gems do not spend them on anything other than builders huts unless you already have 5 builders!

1. Yes, the collectors and mines produce resources if you are online or not, but you need to collect them.
