Question to SC about Minions and Giant Bombs

I'd be curious to hear back from SC if it was intended for them to trigger GB's but not be affected by them.

I'm really not sure if I feel they should or shouldn't. I could easily make arguments for both sides of it, but just wondered if it was intended or not.

(also, make map bigger please)

That would be annoying for the defender, a minion detonating a giant bomb and doing literally nothing lol.
They shouldn't trigger them, they are air troops.

It's a decent question, I'll have to ask the team though.

Same could be said for PEKKAs triggering spring traps, which have no effect on them too though.

That makes sense to me since they are actually touching the spring trap. The minions however are merely flying over the giant bomb.

Goblins also don't get affected by spring traps:(
And the wiki page can be edited by anyone so it might not be accurate.

True. Dragons/Balloons/Healers don't set them off though correct - I haven't met Big Bombs in quite some time though.

I'm pretty sure goblins will get sprung, but they move so fast, if they're just going over it, they are already out of range when they activate. If they're positioned where the goblins are standing though I think they do. Been awhile for hitting spring traps with goblins as well.

Not really. Wasn't it stated on the game via load screens that spring traps don't work on Pekkas? For minions triggering giant bombs, that's a ninja move by the developers. :P

great question, i had no idea this was even possible let alone that it may be intentional.
I agree with the majority, it would make no sense that an air troop would trigger a ground defense like a bomb. especially since no other air troopz have ever triggered anything on the ground that i know of trap wise.

if this is goin on i would suspect it was a glitch that will be fixed, then again...beware the ninjas! haha

I hate giant bombs...i'd rather give my looter the 50k gold. I also hate seeking air mines....i'd rather my looter have the 600DE
