Yes, I know, first post and all. I just designed my own base, and I think it's kinda sucky, but I would like feedback on why it is, and suggestions to make it better. TH 8, middling range on all the upgrades. I upgraded to 8 too fast, and now I'm catching up. I won't give out my IGN, because it's my real name.
I haven't put this on my actual base yet, I knew something was wrong and wanted honest opinions before I did anything with it

Switch the bottom right mortar with the top right cannon. That way the mortars are evenly spread out
Lureable CC, double walls, wiz tower protecting nothing, poor placement of traps, no splash in north part, ADs easy to reach, point defenses not evened out... there is more but why go on... it is a complete rebuild needed.

your wizard tower and mortar placement are pretty bad; the key at TH8 is triangles. You have 3 of everything, gold storages, air defense, mortar, wizard tower. Keep that in mind when designing your base.
The most important defenses are not triangulated; try to triangulate those.
Its very lopsided, if i zap the two mortars on the right i could get all your loot with barch
