Solving your heroes poor defence and also making a AWESOME hero
Every player of TH8 and above strives to get a BK and then an AQ, both amazing in attack. But VERY poor in defence. They are easily lured out and some of the weakest troops in the game kill them as your poor heroes can only target one troop per hot
Instead of altering BK and AQ (which still would help) if you had a hero that could do splash damage it would make it a hole lot harder to beat the hero to be trio
As heroes are based on troops I think the next hero should be based off the wizard seeing as it is the next offensive troop on the list (goblin king may be a novel idea but won't be a massive help to those on a trophy push)
Starting on stats: it will have a big DPS but average health as heroes go instead of putting in each level il give the range of stats:
A level one wizard will have
DPS: 50
HP: 600
And at maxed (LVL40) will have
DPS:250
HP: 1850
Hero ability activated at level 5, lasting for 2.5 seconds doing from 60-1000DPS and up to 6 seconds at maxed level doing between 250-2500 DPS. But there are no troops summoned on the battle field: this wizard's a lone warrior!!
Those DPS stats aren't amazing-true, but this is where things get interesting, seeing as the AQ has a 'modified X-Bow' our wizard hero has a modified inferno tower, as graphics go take the top of a LVL 3 inferno tower and put it on some kind of black twisted stick!
His little staff will act as a multi target inferno. It fires 5 firey beams!
This will act awesome in attack being able to attack 5 CC troops per second and being able to wipe out those pesky archers easily, also when levelled up will benefit high level gameplay as it will take a 3 seconds to wipe out most lower level buildings.
FINALLY the heroes ability, I don't think this hero needs a spell cast around it, only GOOD spell it could use would be lightening or jump. Both which are fairly boring but if everyone disagrees this can be changed.
My proposed hero ability is basically using his inferno tower on single target but with a twist, activated for between 2.5-6 seconds, his staff will switch to single target and casts a damaging beam that goes up as stated earlier!
If you think this is OP I guess heroes are pretty powerful and stats changes can be made!! #clashon and give some positive feedback!!
