25k, 56k, 22k...
I was so excited to play this morning I burned a free shield to get going. So I hit the attack button. 14709 gold. 24k. What? 47k? I need millions at th10. 23k.
A half hour later I was down 250,000 gold and still hadn't seen a raid over 75k. When did this become a slot machine? It was more profitable not to play. The odds are stacked just too much in favor of the house.
Three hours of playing and I'm finally back up to where I started this morning.
What trophy range were you at when this happened? Maybe you need to find a new one.
The way slot machines condition people to keep playing is actually used a lot in computer games. It's positive reinforcement on a variable ratio schedule. It's one of the strongest ways to get people to act a certain way AKA getting them addicted.
I predict the following answers to your post will appear at some point.
1. Your farming too low.
2 . You should use lower cost armies
3. <insert name from forum> i never have a problem with gold - i farm <insert seeming ridiculous amount of gold per raid> for silver 1 in <insert a very short period of time>
4. Yeah loot sucks
5. There is no problem with loot.
6. No problem in <insert high league>
7. I never have a problem with gold <signature states TH 7>
8. I can never find any gold. <signatures says TH7>
9. People complain about TH7 saying anything in a thread about loot.
10. People will tell you you should be raiding storages not collectors
11. People will tell you that you don't know how to farm
12. People will have an arguement about the changes in the loot system in December
13. People complain and say 'not another loot thread
And for a bonus. If your really lucky, people will start arguing using figures of loot before and after the changes in December and arguing over flawed mathematical equasions used to calculate the loot differences
Truth is its a 'live' game. Loot varies from day to day hour to hour. Some days its bad otherdays its good. Edited bit:The problem is that people dump the gold into walls in between upgrades and it gets lost to the system keeping the amount of gold held in each base low. At least thats what I do when i can.
Then attack those using 50 troops n it'll add up
Well if i was you i would change your trophy numbers and may bee take a days break from clashing then come on

Since you have provided no additional information other than your th (like your range, base etc.) I'm just gonna assume you have a premmie TH10, since your join date states January 2014. The second assumption I am gonna make is that you're like any other average premmie: which means heavily under leveled troops and camps, which forces them to farm at leagues far lower than recommended for their TH lvl.
If both my assumptions are right, I recommend you look up what loot penalty means in this game. If I'm wrong, please provide additional information, given that you want help from more experienced players that is...
While I hate necro posts I feel I must defend my honor here. Yes I've only played since the first of December. In that time I have raided 540 million gold, 565 million elixir. I'm level 101 with a "preemie" th10 base that is maxed at th9 - as in lvl7 Ad, 11 towers and cannon, l3 xbows, l8 walls, etc. I have added the infernos and am currently upgrading them to lvl3. So while I'm not a max th10 yet, give me a month or two. I only upgraded May 21st, but I move quickly.Quote:

Loot did get better after two days. It did help to step up into crystal 2. Only thing I hate about crystal is I usually have to use big expensive raids to get gold. That makes it hard to save elixir. So you can make one or the other, but not both usually.
