I just upgraded my town hall to level 8 and built some walls and defense items, so i decided to change my entire base layout. When i went to my war base i noticed it was in the old layout... Is there anyway to "sync" the bases, or do i need to do it manually?

I think this is a good idea, as I have done the same thing recently. This could be done by just yourself putting it the same, but this certainly would help
Agree, one of the reasons I don't really like clan wars.
The war base is good, but needs an integration option. Having to change your base twice for a new design sux.
I would say it is a nice option other than rebuilding your base from memory to make it stronger.
They just changed that in the last update why would they change it back
