Autocorrect for Global/Clan Chat
I don't have many complaints about Clash of Clans. In fact, I'm pretty sure that I'm addicted to the game. But there is one thing that really bugs me:
There's no autocorrect/typing suggestions in the chats.
I know I'm not the only one who has trouble typing while I'm in a chat on Clash of Clans, and sometimes typing out a sequitur message takes more time than I would like to admit. Also, when making corrections, the only way to go back is to delete what you have already typed until you get to the area you want to correct or to press the back arrow over and over until you end up where you want to be (there is also no cursor to let you know where you are at when you use the back arrow, which makes it difficult to make corrections).
My suggestions to improve Global/Clan chatting are:
- Include an autocorrect and/or typing suggestion feature. Autocorrect would automatically correct a misspelled word. Typing corrections would be above the keyboard, similar to when typing a text message.
- Include a blinking cursor when typing. This would allow people to know where they will be typing or making corrections. This would make it much easier to use the back arrow to make corrections, because we would be able to know where we are at in the message.
I really do love playing Clash of Clans, but I find myself becoming frustrated when trying to effectively, quickly, and correctly type a message.
