Town Hall outsides with Teslas

Why do people put their town hall outside for the free shield, but surround it with Teslas?

I don't understand this at all. Instead of saying thank you for the free shield, you make the attacker have to use 50 troops instead of 3. They are still going go get the town hall, so why do it?

The defender does not gain anything by doing this. If anything, it's going to ♥♥♥♥ off the attacker and make them MORE LIKELY to attack their collectors to teach them a lesson.

Someone please explain to me what these people are thinking by surrounding the town hall with teslas.

I've been wondering the same, I think they are just dumb and think it's good for those who want to raid the whole base and start from the TH. It's just bad, as anywhere else Teslas'd do better

To teach the under-leveled trophy pushers (lvl 40 and below) a lesson. I don't do it myself, but we have a guy in our clan that surrounded his TH with big bombs, bombs and springs. And 2 of his 4 teslas. A level 37 in crystal 3 spent 140 archers to get the town hall. That's why. And its funny to watch on a replay. I am a nearly maxed out TH 8. When I have a farming base up and I get sniped by 40 or below that are in crystal, it pisses me off. People that low have no business being in crystal, in my opinion. So i revenge the ♥♥♥♥ out of them to take back the trophies plus about 30 more for the revenge.

You guys want easy trophies, well some people will make you earn them. ♥♥♥ for tat. You can't have it one way and expect everyone to oblige. Do you really expect people your attacking to "help you out"?

if u find a lower lvl doing this, make sure to 3 star 'em and take their dark elixir. Many high lvl players frown upon teslas guarding the th.

But... don't you want to get sniped? Isn't that the point of putting your town hall out in the first place? Isn't it better to get sniped by a lvl40 who has no chance of doing further harm than a level 90 who takes whatever he wants after he takes the town hall?

Instead of acting like they did some great affront to your pride, you should be encouraging that type of player to be in your league.

Some people think the attacker will give up and give them free trophies every once and awail. I dont do that because its a waste of defences. But it is funny to see people struggle to get 7 trophies. :rolleyes:

No offense, you should thank the lv40-. In crystal, I want trophies and loot... putting your TH exposed, only make you my first target.


Suggestion to TH snipper, if you encounter traps on TH.. change your strategy, go for loot and do less than 40% damages.

That's exactly what happens. Haha. And that is almost as entertaining as watching a replay of 140 archers trying to get one town hall.

take wins against level 90's and give up maybe a 1 or 2 stars here and there. So that doesn't really concern me. My point is- at level 40 you have no business being in crystal and I will be happy to flatten your base and give you a free shield, while taking all your resources. Not to mention the revenge that is sure to come from a level 90+ in crystal that revenges you just for the laugh.

I don't do it either because I don't want a higher level attacker seeing all my teslas are not in the base and then decide to take that base and leave the town hall lol. It is funny to see low levels wast their army to get 6 or 7 trophies.

And honestly, when I see a farming base with the TH outside, I completely ignore it and go for the resources. If i get the TH great, if not, great. No difference to me.

None taken. I'm not real sure what you are trying to get across in your first statement.

And I would agree with your second statement. If it pisses you off, return the favor. Otherwise you give someone a good laugh.

I do it all the time when i have no loot, it's pretty fun to imagine someone panicking and dropping his or her heroes plus a couple rage spells when he or her was only planning to use 4 archers.
